Kirk was born and raised in the Adirondack Mountains where his parents introduced him to the wonders of the great outdoors at a very young age. Growing up he spent every free minute he had exploring the wonders of the wilderness and always looking for what is over the next ridge. He says “the best things are always found off the beaten path.” Kirk carries a strong passion for everything outdoors. He enjoys wilderness camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, and trapping. But deer hunting is his favorite. On most snowy November days, Kirk can only be found out looking for his next Adirondack buck.
Continuing his love for the outdoors, Kirk attended the Wanakena Ranger School where he studied Environmental Science, Land Surveying and Forestry, graduating in 1999, with a degree in Forest Technology. He has worked as a Forest Technician, a Procurement Forester and a Land Acquisition Specialist/ Planner in New York, Montana and Colorado. He currently is a licensed Real Estate Salesman and works as a Land Manager for a major timber company in Northern NY.
Kirk has almost 20 years of experience in the land business. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of land while he is helping folks find their new land or cabin to enjoy. He says nothing helps build family memories like spending time in the great outdoors together.
Kirk’s greatest accomplishment in life is his family. He enjoys spending time with them and is grateful for the opportunity to be a father. He strives to pass on the outdoor legacy to his kids in the hope that someday they too will enjoy the outdoors as much as he does.
